We’ve had such a busy summer I haven’t had too much time to sew, but I did manage to finish two items.
One of these is the easiest project that I have ever made. I definitely will be making more for my craft shows.
All I needed was a dish towel and small pot holder, but you can use a regular sized potholder.
I gathered the middle of the towel and then stitched it to the center of the pot holder on the underside.
You then need to sew a button on the opposite side of the loop to be able to fasten it closed when hung on the oven door handle. Sew simple.
I also had time to make another apron. It’s bright pink and very cheerful. I’m hoping the owner will feel like cooking gourmet meals when she wears it.

I have many lanterns left over from our youngest daughter’s wedding, so I decided to make a Christmas scene with it. This project is super easy and great as a gift for someone with children.
All you need is the lantern of your choice, glue gun, felt, scissors, miniature garden figures and tiny lights to wrap around the xmas tree. I also bought some teeny tiny pom poms for the tree decorations and then your are ready to start designing your scene.
I also made a big bow to top it off.
It looks magical at night when you turn the lights on.
I put a little red pom pom on the reindeer’s nose.♥♥♥♥
