Every year hubby has our oldest grandson take down our Christmas boxes from the attic and prepares to decorate the outside of our house; I do the inside.
He sat down at the kitchen table and started putting decorations on the wreaths that he always uses, along with the red bows that we just bought at the Dollar store.
We have small brick pillars in the front, so this is where he puts his wreaths.
On the pillars that don’t get the wreaths, he puts Poinsettia plants on their tops, it looks very festive.
And please believe me when I tell you that this is only the beginning of his decorating.♥♥♥♥

I’m doing a little bit of Easter decorating for my grandkids. They are getting older and I don’t know how much longer they’ll be interested in the decorations that I put up.
Two of my grandsons were delighted with the lego bunny set.
The lego set is super tiny, but not hard to put together.
These bunnies are ready with their chocolate carrots (they’re really mine to eat).
The eggs are paired with my favorite little bird.
Neighbors in the area enjoy celebrating in a big way. I like to drive by their house on holidays to see what they have on their lawn.
This little bunny will make a fun night light, as it lights up
Thank alll of you that visit my blog and have a wonderful family filled Easter.
May peace be with all of you.

No, this is not my home. It belongs to our #1 (first born) daughter.
She is a very talented person and loves to decorate for the different holidays. In fact, she is the one that should have a blog, but she says time is an issue.
So I’m borrowing her pictures so that I can post something pretty today, since my decorations consist only of vinyl heart stickers on my kitchen window.
Enjoy your day!♥♥♥♥

Yes, autumn has finally reached the San Joaquin Valley and I’m so ready for it.
We’ve had over 50 days this summer of 100+ degree weather.
Time for summer’s departure!
Our grandsons took down all our fall decorations from the attic, so I quickly decorated, filling the house with fall colors.
My bay window is festive.
The table runner I started a few weeks ago is done and was placed on the dining room table.
I even have my own pumpkin patch by the wood stove.
Hubby has also gotten ready for the winter, buying some pellets for our wood stove.
The older grandkids helped us stack them. Love those kids!
I’m thinking we’re all set now, for a while anyway.
Now I’m craving pumpkin pie! ♥♥♥♥

We dressed up our bare lamp-post. Now it welcomes friends and family! I’m still using my 5 inch ribbon since the roll had 25 yards on it.
Then I moved on to a shelf I have in the hallway. I love this sign because it lights up and the little stars start to twinkle.
We’ve had some hard frost here in the central valley of California and it’s feeling more like winter. Many of my plants were zapped by the frost and because I didn’t have time to purchase the correct protective covering for the plants, I used what I had handy.
My bougainvillea is hiding behind the towel and the snap peas are under the blanket.
I do want to thank WordPress for letting us have snow on our page. I love it! I’m thinking if they can give us falling leaves for autumn and flowers for spring, that would be fun.

Yes, I know it’s still early, but at least I’m waiting a little longer than the shopping malls.
It’s fast approaching and time to do just a few things. I made this wall hanging last year around this time, so I’m thinking of hanging it up today. The Christmas tree is surrounded by red beads sewn on by hand and then I strung some beads on some thread and used them as garlands for the tree.
Here’s a closer view.
This ribbon will be made into bows. It’s 5 inches wide, that means I’ll have some pretty good sized bows to hang up. The first bow I made has two loops and the other bow has four loops on it. I’m not sure which one I will be making more of. When using a smaller sized ribbon I use five loops on each bow.
Have a great weekend!.

Bienvenidos amigos
Welcome my friends
Yesterday our hearts were sad. We lost a nephew and he was laid to rest. I always saw him with a smile and he’ll be missed, but his spirit is with us always.
Today I thought I’d post a few pictures of a vignette, that I’m trying to get just right, but I can’t seem to get the right combination of fall items that I have for my little bay window.
This is hard, I’ll have to keep trying!
Transparent window clings are my favorite things to put on my windows. The light comes right through them and the colors look so pretty.
Have a great weekend!
