Holidays are now history, celebrations are done with, and hubby has had his back surgery and is recovering nicely.
So now it’s crunch time. Trying to get everything done for the wedding of our youngest daughter, is our focus for now.
The key to preparing for such an occasion is to save money wherever you can.
So I decided to use artificial flowers for boutonnières, centerpieces and the bouquets, except for the bride, she will get fresh flowers.
Time for the rush of trying to beat the deadlines for having things done.
Boutonnières are finì and I love the colors that our daughter chose for the wedding.
Centerpieces are half done, but they are not complicated so they won’t take too long to finish them.
And the bridesmaids bouquets are being worked on at the moment.
I’m hoping to get all this finished by the middle of February.
Wish me luck.
Oh dear, I still have to shop for my dress!
Update, I found my dress. ♥♥♥♥
Thank you for stopping by.
Our youngest daughter got engaged last January on her birthday celebration. We are all happy and excited that soon there will be a wedding.
We’ve decided on the venue, now we’re working on the centerpieces ourselves to save a little money.
Some supplies have been bought.
And we thought we might need some bling.
Excited and eager we started to design, and came up with this. Deciding that we would fill the vases with water and submersible lights.
Needing more vases, we went to Walmart in search of more. On our way to pay we saw some lanterns which made us think about changing our minds.
So to make a long story short, we bought the vases, returned the vases and decided on the lanterns.
White and gray lanterns will be used and will be filled with the purple-blue flowers.
Now, it’s back to the drawing board to come up with a little floral piece to go in the lanterns.
