Just recently my niece/dear friend asked if I was interested in being one of the vendors at her tea luncheon.
Of course I said yes because first of all, I have never been to a tea luncheon and I also needed to put my crafts out there for people to see.
Knowing that I would need help I recruited my granddaughter to assist me.
This was a dressy event with the option of wearing a hat and many women did wear lovely hats, but because my head is just not made for that a particular accessory I didn’t wear one.
This is my dear friend wearing her hat, pictured with her lovely daughter.
The theme was Around the World in 80 Days, so the tables were decorated with different country themes.
I loved this table setting because the colors were so bright and cheerful which is what Italy is all about for me. This was done by another niece of ours.
The red, white and blue American setting was another favorite of mine and my granddaughter and I were invited to sit and enjoy our tea by my niece/dear friend. who decorated the table.
A little extra pizzazz was added to the back of the chairs.
Another visual treat was the napkin shaped into a rose.
Not only were we treated to a lovely luncheon, but we also enjoyed a fashion show with some great outfits modeled by the ladies of the Sunnyside Ministry.
I can’t believe they do this event every year because it involves a lot of planning and hard work. I watched my dear friend being pulled from all sides for help during the luncheon.
Thank you Gloria, you did such a wonderful job along with the other Sunnyside Ministry Ladies.💜❤️❤️💜
PS I was quite pleased with the sale of my crafts.
