All summer long the weeds have been launching a fierce attack in my garden area. So I’m trying to counter attack and my efforts are paying off.
Weeding can be good therapy, but not in 103º temperatures.
Luckily, I was rewarded with a few creatures coming through my little piece of land.
First, I saw a bunny rabbit resting quietly in a corner. I’ve seen him before, he visits frequently. Sometimes a friend’s dog will chase it, but he can’t catch him; the bunny is too quick.
Dragon flys have been cruising around my plants. My favorite is the orange colored one.
A strange looking one showed up this year for the first time. It has a baby blue body and it’s wings are transparent with some black rectangles on them. But unfortunately my picture does not do it justice.
Time to get back to my weeding.

Weeds grow like crazy when there is some kind of humidity. I also have rabbits trying to get their meals out of my backyard. Squirrels calmed down after I started to use my invented root protectors. I have not seen them also eating that much zucchinis, cucumbers and tomatoes. I don’t think have seen dragon flies here, but maybe once I have, it had bright color, something purple and was big, like those ones that fly over water.
