It’s always fun to decorate for Easter, but I do it especially for my grandkids.
My oldest daughter also decorates her mantel for just about every season, and I always look forward to seeing what she does.
And it’s always a Mexican tradition for cascarones, which are egg shells filled with confetti that you break over your relatives heads, gently. Although the kids always get carried away and we have to try and avoid them in order not to get a concussion. One year I made an Easter tree out of a tree branch.
More ideas to come. Thanks for visiting.♥♥♥♥
The weather forecast did not look promising, but we still decided to take our trip.
Once a year we take my sister-in-law on a little trip. It’s always hard for them to get together, so this is a good time to catch up on family stuff.
So were drove to the Pacific Coast, to a little town called Cambria.
The first day was cold and windy as we walked on the pier. Luckily we had our big jackets on for warmth.
But the ducks didn’t mind as they rode the waves.
The landscape was as verdant as what I imagined Ireland to be.
Gorgeous plants displayed their best blooms.
One the second day it rained, and we had to walk the beach under an umbrella.
On our last night we enjoyed cocktails in the lounge.
I’m not a drinker but still ordered a Lemon Drop Martini, which was way too strong and had to pass it on to hubby. Hubby ordered a Triple X-Rated Martini, but really meant to say X-Rated Martini, which made the cocktail waitress smile.♥♥♥♥
