The other day I needed some tomatoes, so I went to my garden. I started to pick some tomatoes and when I got to the last one, I stopped. There were some weird bugs on the surface of a good looking tomato.
Never having seen these strange bugs, I decided I didn’t need this particular tomato.
Today I checked on the tomato plants and found some more bugs on a different tomato, so it looks like something needs to be done. Just not sure what.🍅🍅🍅🍅
A few weeks ago we were walloped with 100+ temperatures, which fried many of my plants along with my craftiness and creativity.
Last week and this week we have enjoyed the 90’s, which feel so much more comfortable, it’s actually been cool in the mornings.
Fortunately my sunflowers loved the heat.
This morning I found a little beauty of a sunflower. I has a tinge of red on the petals.
This next one came out a few weeks ago.
The dreaded heat is making a comeback to the Central Valley of California just like it always does and it makes me want to give up on the garden, but I force myself to go out into the heat.
Stay cool as we continue to sweat it out.♥️❤️❤️♥️
I had no idea this little house would give me so much trouble. From now on I will make my own pattern.
Although I did finish it, I had to improvise. Some of the measurements were not correct, because I read and reread the measurements and no bueno, so I had to make a few changes.
This will now be the center block for a quilt that will go to a baby boy who will come later this year. I’m thinking of using brown, green and some blue and red for the colors.
I do love building the little house blocks, so I will have to search for easy ones or make my own pattern.♥️♥️♥️♥️
