The ranchito vegetable garden is doing well, along with my flowers despite the heat, but this is just the beginning of the intolerable hot weather that we have here in the San Joaquin Valley. I’m dreading the time when it really gets here.
Although I consider myself a haphazard gardener, my thumb just might have a tinge of green on it, and I am still amazed at what grows in my little garden.

This is a new flower that I planted this year, it’s called Liatris, which does good in drought conditions.
As I was taking pictures a guest arrived to visit the vegetable garden.
