This is the pinned version of the apron.
My sis-in-law has called me twice to check up on the progress of the apron that I promised her.
Shamefully I had to admit that I hadn’t even started yet.
So, yesterday I made it a sewing day, and sew I did.
It’s not that I didn’t want to work on it, I just had so many other projects to work on.
And viola! This is the finished apron. ♥♥♥
It’s just a touch different
Now it’s time for more unfinished projects!
And from my mean, vicious cactus, a lovely little flower.
Sandra
Dora, that flower is breathtaking! The apron is super cute! You are so clever.

Thank you Sandra. The flower is rather small, but I love the color.

I think the apron is too beautiful for mere cooking, Dora. Is such a thing as a formal wear apron? Your handiwork qualifies!

Thank you Mark. I should have thought about red sauce, grease splats and other kitchen spills before choosing such a light color. Oh well, she’ll have to wash it many times.

I think she must show it off for good company, Dora.

I don’t think I could dirty it by wiping my hands on it! You always choose such lovely, cheerful colors in all of your work. That cactus flower is amazing! What a beautiful place you live!
